7-foot black aluminum frame with 1.75-inch TIA/EIA hole spacing. The unit has a pre-installed jumper trough mounted at the top of the frame. The CDF has a total of 44Us or rack spaces and the part number for each component that works with it has a “U” designation that indicates how many rack spaces that product occupies (1U = one rack space = 1.75 inches).
